Some of the strands to stitch (usually of cotton, wool or silk) feature this aspect. These are threads that are little twisted so that they can be divided into the number of threads with which you intend to work.

  1. Begin by cutting the length of wire you need (preferably, that is lower than 50 cm).
  2. Separate the number of threads that will create the effect you want to (that is, if you want the reason present a high relief very sharp, you should use more wires together but if you want the reason does not stand out so much, you should use fewer wires together).
